Ram Nath Kovind a été assermenté en tant que 14ème président de l'Inde en remplacement de Pranab Mukherjee. Il a été administré par le juge en chef JS Khehar dans la salle centrale du Parlement. A l'occasion de la participation du Premier ministre Narendra Modi, des anciens ministres Manmohan Singh et Deve Gowda, de l'ancien président Pratibha Patil, des ministres en chef et des députés des deux chambres du Parlement, Kovind a remercié tout le monde pour l'énorme responsabilité qui lui a été confiée.
Ram Nath Kovind has been sworn in as India’s 14th President replacing Pranab Mukherjee. He was administered the oath of office by Chief Justice JS Khehar in the central hall of Parliament. At the occasion attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former PMs Manmohan Singh and Deve Gowda, former president Pratibha Patil, chief ministers and MPs of both Houses of Parliament, Kovind thanked everyone for the enormous responsibility bestowed on him.
